1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all orders placed through our online butcher shop ("the Shop"), whether for personal consumption or wholesale distribution. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.2 "We", "our" and "us" refer to the operator of the Shop. "You" and "your" refer to the purchaser (retail or wholesale).

1.3 The Shop sells raw meat and meat products. All products must be cooked thoroughly before consumption.

1.4 We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms take effect when published on our website. You should review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Shop constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

2. Account Registration and Accurate Information

2.1 You may browse our website without an account. To place orders or access certain features, you may need to register an account.

2.2 If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your username and password secure. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

2.3 You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information when ordering or registering an account, including your name, delivery address, email address and payment details. You must promptly update your information to ensure we can fulfil your orders and contact you.

2.4 We may refuse to open, suspend or close accounts at our discretion. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us via email.

3. Ordering and Acceptance

3.1 Your order is an offer to buy goods under these Terms. We may accept or reject your order for reasons such as stock availability, payment issues or delivery restrictions.

3.2 If we decline an order after payment has been processed, we will refund you using your original payment method.

3.3 Weights shown online are approximate due to trimming and cutting. Prices are calculated based on the final weight of the product supplied.

4. Prices and Taxes

4.1 All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.

4.2 We may change prices at any time without prior notice. We may modify or discontinue products or services at any time.

5. Product Availability and Weight

5.1 Some products may only be available through our online store and may be offered in limited quantities. Availability is subject to our refund policy.

5.2 We strive to display product images and descriptions accurately, but colours and appearances may vary depending on display settings and natural variations in meat. Because meat is a natural product, weights, shapes and fat‑to‑meat ratios can vary.

5.3 Our prices are calculated on a per‑unit basis, excluding packaging. Final weights may differ slightly due to natural moisture loss.

5.4 We may, but are not obliged to, limit sales of products or services to particular people, regions or jurisdictions. We are not liable for any change, suspension or discontinuation of products or services.

6. Delivery

6.1 We deliver within Victoria. Bulk or interstate orders may be available subject to minimum quantities and suitable refrigerated transport. For non-interstate orders over a $150, delivery is complimentary. Orders below this value will incur a delivery fee calculated at checkout based on your location and any special delivery window.

6.2 Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. and Saturdays between 8.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. We do not deliver on Mondays, Sundays or public holidays unless agreed in advance.

6.3 The day before your scheduled delivery we will send an email or SMS confirming your delivery date. On the morning of delivery, we will provide a four‑hour window indicating when your order should arrive. A tracking link may be provided for real‑time updates. Proof of delivery will be sent after your order is delivered.

6.4 Delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control such as traffic or courier delays.

6.5 It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery details and ensure that someone is available to receive and properly store the goods. Risk of loss or deterioration passes to you once delivery is completed. Goods should be refrigerated or frozen immediately upon receipt.

6.6 If we or our delivery partner cannot complete the delivery because the location is inaccessible (for example, a public place or restricted area), we may return the order to our Sunshine West store or the courier’s depot. We will inform you and advise where and when you may collect your order. Any delivery fee paid will not be refunded.

7. Pickup

7.1 You may choose to collect your order from our designated store. When selecting a pickup date, we will provide a time window for collection.

7.2 Pickup orders must meet a minimum order value $50. Pickup is available Tuesday to Saturday; collection is not available on Mondays, Sundays or public holidays unless agreed in advance.

7.3 If you do not collect your order on the scheduled pickup date, the order is forfeited. No replacement or refund will be given and we are not liable for any loss you may incur.

7.4 Further information about pickup windows, cut‑off times, packaging and related procedures is provided in the FAQ section of our website. The FAQs form part of these Terms. If there is any inconsistency between the FAQs and these Terms, these Terms prevail.

8. Refunds and Replacements

8.1 We comply with the Australian Consumer Law regarding faulty or misdescribed goods. If you believe a product is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team at info@beulahmeat.com.au. Please provide your order number and evidence (such as photographs) of the issue.

8.2 Where required by law, we will provide a refund or replacement. We reserve the right to request reasonable proof before processing a refund or replacement. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

9. Order Cancellations and Changes

9.1 In addition to your statutory rights, we permit order changes and cancellations under the following policy. We may update this policy at any time. Our staff have discretion to apply these rules on a case‑by‑case basis.

9.2 You may request to cancel all or part of your order, add or remove items, switch from delivery to pickup or vice versa, or change the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

9.3 If you request a change or cancellation before 5.00 p.m. two business days prior to your scheduled delivery or pickup date, we will refund the full value of the cancelled items and/or invoice any additional amounts for added items.

9.4 If you request a change or cancellation after 5.00 p.m. two business days before but before midday on the business day prior to your delivery or pickup date, we will apply an administration fee of 30 % on the cancelled portion of the order (or 30 % of the total order value for full cancellations). We will refund the balance after the deduction and/or invoice you for any additional amounts on added items.

9.5 If a change within the timeframe described in clause 9.4 involves only switching your order from delivery to pickup at our store, no additional charges apply.

9.6 After midday on the business day before your scheduled delivery or pickup, changes and cancellations are not permitted.

10. Wholesale and Distribution

10.1 We supply meat products for resale or distribution on a wholesale basis. To establish a wholesale account, you must provide us with your business details (including ABN) and any licences required under applicable law. We may request additional documentation.

10.2 Wholesale orders may be subject to minimum quantity requirements, which we will advise at the time of ordering.

10.3 If you are reselling or distributing our products, you must:

  • Maintain the cold chain and store products according to all relevant food safety standards.
  • Ensure that all products remain within their use‑by or best‑before dates at the time of resale or distribution.
  • Comply with all labelling, allergen and consumer law requirements, including passing on allergen information and use‑by dates to your customers.
  • Not misrepresent our products or remove mandatory labels.

10.4 If you transport our products outside Victoria, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with the food transport and sale laws of the destination state or territory.

10.5 You indemnify us against any loss or liability (including legal costs) arising from your resale or distribution of our products, except to the extent that the loss is caused by our negligence or breach of statutory obligations.

11. Payments

11.1 Payment must be made using a valid credit card, debit card or other approved method at the time you place your order. Wholesale customers may be offered credit terms subject to approval.

11.2 All online card transactions are processed through secure third‑party payment gateways. We do not store complete card details and cannot access them.

11.3 If your payment is declined or reversed, we may cancel your order.

12. Special Offers

12.1 We may from time to time offer promotions or discount codes. These offers may be subject to additional terms such as expiry dates or quantity limits. Any additional terms form part of these Terms.

13. Privacy

13.1 Your use of our website may involve the transmission of personal information. We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website and forms part of these Terms.

14. Liability

14.1 To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the sale of goods is limited to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods or refunding the purchase price.

14.2 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profits) arising out of or in connection with your purchase, except as required by law.

14.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Intellectual Property

15.1 All content on our website, including text, images and logos, is owned or licensed by us. You may not reproduce or use our content without our written permission.

16. Governing Law

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria in relation to any dispute concerning these Terms.
